AXIS Arjun Type 1

A modular, all-terrain unmanned ground vehicle carrying a remote-controlled weapon station, designed and developed in India.

Overview

A weapon platform that leaves the soldier behind.

Arjun Type 1 pairs a heavy all-weather chassis with a pedestal-mounted remote weapon station, a multi-sensor camera and a long-range antenna mast. Operators observe and engage from a safe distance.

The same vehicle can be tasked for logistics, evacuation or communication relay. Higher indigenous content gives a lower total cost than comparable imports.
